During Golden Friendsgiving , players had to recover keys that were scattered around Transport Canada's custom-made map (complete with new textures and props). Only one golden ticket could be uncovered by each player per round, so everyone would have an equal chance at obtaining it somehow. There were twenty-five keys in total out there to find.

Once all the tickets had been acquired following the conclusion of Golden Friendsgiving , they were destroyed en masse during December's Christmas Event hosted by TPW . All the money raised from ticket sales went to charity. A mixture of fun and serious gameplay took place in order to celebrate the pre-Thanksgiving holiday with fellow players and friends of Transport Canada. It contained updates such as an enhanced HUD for both Pilots and Drivers, Halloween masks (meant more for laughs than anything else), new music, etc. However, the main attraction was something else entirely...
Unknown to all participants except for one or two people in the planning stages, Golden Friendsgiving involved the use of a "golden ticket" which granted access to special items in future TPW events. The ticket itself has since been destroyed following the conclusion of this year's Golden Friendsgiving Event. As this item was intended to be used in the future, players got their hands on it early.
The golden ticket would allow its holder access to several new items which will exclusively be available for TPW's Christmas Event (which is now under development). This includes but is not limited to Golden Helmet Golden Armor Golden Leg Plate

Golden Friendsgiving took place between November 25th and December 16th. A mix of fun events was held during that time period with a different theme each day.
